| These puzzle books are the MOST INCREDIBLE dot-to-dot puzzles I have ever done! And each book is better than the last! My favorite puzzles are the 2-page puzzles and I always wish there were more in each book. I wish that a new book came out more often than yearly though. My husband thinks I'm crazy to enjoy these puzzles so much but I find them very relaxing and it's exciting to see what I've "drawn" when I'm done. using these not-for-kids dot-to-dots! Challenging, just like the title suggests, with 3(!) 2 page spreads using 1300-1500 dots! There are plenty of warm-ups, too, that use alphabet instead of numbers, some that use no dots, some where you connect symbols, others you must connect coordinates using a grid of dots (A 2 to C 7)! There is a wide variety of puzzle types in this latest Super Challenge in the series. These puzzles are great fun, can be a bit frustrating (old eyes have a hard time finding numbers!), a nice, quiet activity, and always a pleasant way to pass time!
I've worked these picture puzzles with all age groups from upper elementary kids to high school, college, middle age adults and seniors with one result: everyone found these dot-to-dots to be OUTSTANDING! Wonderful art, not simple line drawings that depict all kinds of subjects.
If you are looking for travel or vacation things to do, buy this book. If you are looking for something fun and clever to place in a gift basket (or in a guest room,buy this book! If you need something to take to someone laid up, or to give to keep ANYONE'S mind active: BUY THIS BOOK (or any in David Kalvitis' series).
You will not regret your purchase of this book, unless it is because you should have bought 2--one to give and one for yourself!
Excellent for precocious children 4th/5th grade and up. Especially good for nostalgic baby boomers and senior citizens with active minds--just be sure to have a magnifying glass handy!
